The Story Behind the New Name
When Ricky and I started The Mack & G Show, it was just two longtime friends sitting down to talk about life, parenthood, and all the ridiculous, frustrating, hilarious moments in between. We didn’t know what it would turn into — we just knew we wanted to make something real and share a few laughs along the way.
Over time, the show started to grow — the conversations got bigger, the topics stretched beyond just us, and we realized it wasn’t only about “Mack and G.” It was about everyone who listens, relates, and laughs along.
That’s why we decided to evolve the show into something that reflects that bigger spirit — a name that’s not just about us, but about what connects all of us: Laughter Included.
It’s still the same friendship, the same humor, and the same off-the-rails conversations — we’ve just widened the circle. And part of that next chapter includes our buddy Matt Moramarco, who’s joining the crew as our in-studio producer and bringing his own spark and perspective to the mix.
Same heart. Same humor. Just a little more company — because around here, the laughter’s always included.

John is the creator and co-host of Laughter Included, formerly The Mack & G Show. A lifelong storyteller, dad, and Massachusetts native, John built the show around real-life conversations that mix humor, honesty, and the kind of perspective only middle age can bring. When he’s not recording episodes in the studio above his garage, he’s usually juggling family life, softball, and new creative ideas that make everyday life a little funnier.
